The Project
Support for a private landowner in a project to diversify the tree species on their land. Native and diverse species (small fruits, fruit trees, evergreens, etc.).
Initial situation
A private landowner owns a plot of land in the Chimay area, in the forests of southern Belgium.
His aim is to diversify the tree species on his land, which is surrounded by forests consisting mainly of conifers. The landowner was assisted by Natagriwal with the project design and the selection of species for the living hedge.
SOWoods’ solution
We supported the owner with the planting project. We supplied the trees through a local partner nursery and helped the owner to plant the hedges.
